I iz competition winner!
May. 6th, 2009 08:36 pmYou won't remember I'm sure (because I didn't!) but at the end of Jan I submitted some photos of Harley and Jemima to a cat society photo comp. I hadn't heard anything and to be honest I'd forgotten all about it - and then today I got an email saying I'd won in two categories! I'm so excited! Apparently my rosettes are in the post :-).

Best Friends

.
I won in the "Glamour Puss" category for photos of female cats. I submitted one photo of Jemima for that one. Then there was the "Best Friends" category for two or more cats. Now, as you know, Harley and Jemima do a LOT of snuggling, so I submitted four photos for that one. I don't actually know which of them won that category so I'm posting them all!
I doubt there were many entrants but I'm very happy all the same! I love my babies and I love when other people think they're cute too *g*
Glamour PussBest Friends
.
And your cats really deserve the prices caused by their cuteness and you as their fotograph-slave. Your Glamour Puss is so full of Glamour. She is soo cute and the Best Friends picture are so sweet. They both look so satisfied and so much in love to each other. I do love your pics. Thanks a lot for sharing. I mean you are their human slave and you did a great job. When I think about the pics of your Glamour Puss as she arrived at your home and when you see how wonderful and luckily and happy she looks right now. Wow! Just WoW!!!
Well done on winning!
(By the way, don't know if Bluespirit has ever passed on my views, but *hugs*)
Bluespirit said you were in agreement with us on a certain topic in fandom (ahem!) but that's all. I think I know what you mean though and I appreciate the hugs!!! *Hugs you back*.
Congratulations!
Very sweet.
Congratulations!
I so envy you so much I miss having pets!
I must admit I love mine to bits and wouldn't want to live without cats - ever.
I DO remember you entering that contest and I'm so glad you won! Your photos - and your pretty kitties - sure deserve it!
Yay for rosettes! *g*
*Hugs you*.
On a side note, totally off topic, I was watching the Jamie Pugh performance from BGT on Youtube and I have a question. They refer to the woman with him has his partner but they are both wearing wedding rings. Is this usual phrasing in England?
And no, it's not usual phrasing. If they were married usually they'd say "wife". I dunno if maybe they're still married to other people (although why they'd still be wearing their wedding rings if they were separated is beyond me!). Or maybe the show's producers weren't sure of their marital status and just said "partner" to be on the safe side!
OT question: how do you feel about people writing in your BDSM universe? I have this nagging plot bunny trying to get me to do a House/NCIS crossover in that 'verse, but I wouldn't listen to it until I asked you.
As for the BDSM verse - lots of people have, and I don't say people can't. I'll admit I find it uncomfortable a lot of the time and even the best stories tend not to jibe with my view of the verse, but if you're bitten by a bunny I wouldn't say no to you!
you have the world's cutest kitties. :)
Lol at the 3rd Best Friend pic!
